Dear Best Summer Of My Life,
I hate how you ended so quickly. I held onto your hand as tightly as my sun burnt fingers could. Trying to stop you, slow you down as you raced through the moments. I lost track of time, forgot to do my summer reading, learned to play the guitar, and left home for five weeks altogether.
I did the one thing I swore never to do again.
